As part of the Comox Valley Sewer Conveyance Project, the Comox Valley Regional District will be closing Lazo Road from Sandcliff Drive to Torrence Road, beginning next week.
Construction is estimated to begin Monday, April 28th and last until about June 13th.
Work will take place from 7am to 7pm, Mondays through Saturdays.
Detour routes will be clearly marked, and traffic control personnel will be on site.
Commuters are advised to plan their routes accordingly and to anticipate additional travel time during the closure period.
The Comox Valley RD says the cooperation and patience of the public are greatly appreciated as they work to enhance the sewer system infrastructure.
