The Pride Society of Comox Valley has been hosting events all week.

Friday morning, flags are being raised at municipal halls; 10am at the Village of Cumberland town hall; 11am in Courtenay; and 12pm in the Town of Comox.

Courtenay’s Pride Parade is happening tomorrow starting at noon, which means a temporary road closure on 5th Street through Downtown Courtenay and across the 5th Street Bridge toward Simms Park.

The party will continue with Pride in the Park at Simms Park until 4pm.
