It is Literacy Week in Campbell River.
The Campbell River Community Literacy Association is hosting a series of events through the week, running to Sunday, including a community show Monday afternoon at the Tidemark Theatre, free family admission to the Campbell River Museum Tuesday thru Friday, and a scavenger hunt throughout the city created by Greenways Land Trust.
The association has been supporting learning in Campbell River since 2001.
The organization’s first location was a small storefront on St. Anne’s Road, later moving to the North Island College facility on Elm Street, now known as Mariner’s Square or Save-On Foods, before finally settling at Robron Centre in 2006.
