It’s a Holiday Parade weekend.
The Campbell River Downtown Business Improvement Association presents Starlight Shopping & the annual Big Truck Parade Friday evening beginning at 5pm downtown.
Trucks decorated in lights will cruise from Simms Road, along Highway 19A, through Pier Street, along Shoppers Row, past Berwick by the Sea & then disperse.
Santa, Mrs. Claus & the Elves in the last fire truck will enter the Plaza to help light the Christmas Tree & take part in the festivities.
It’ll be quite busy in the downtown area, so you’re advised to park 3 or 4 blocks away and walk in to take in the holiday scenery.
Then on Sunday afternoon (December 4), it’s the 2022 Comox Valley Christmas Parade.
Join in the Heart of Downtown Courtenay for the annual event, with decorated floats & walking entries.
The theme this year is ‘A Gingerbread Christmas’.
It runs from 1-3pm along 5th Street, from Harmston to Cliffe Avenues, in Courtenay.
