It Is Day 4 Of The Wounded Warrior Run

It is day 4 of the Wounded Warrior Run.

Runners made their way into Campbell River yesterday afternoon, looking to raise $250-thousand to support veterans and first responders experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder and operational stress injuries.

The team has raised close to $80k so far.

The 8 day journey started February 26, 2024, in Port Hardy and will wrap in Victoria.

The runners leave the Campbell River Comfort Inn and Suites at 9am Wednesday, February 28, 2024, with a stop at the Oyster River Fire Department at 11:15am.

They are scheduled to arrive at the Comox Valley RCMP detachment around 2pm.

On the team this year is Sergeant Rob Brennan, of the Comox Valley RCMP.

The schedule will continue as follows:

February 28th / Campbell River / Comox
February 29th / Comox / Port Alberni
March 1st / Parksville/ Nanaimo
March 2nd / Nanaimo / Shawnigan Lake
March 3rd / Mill Bay / Victoria
