Island Health has issued a Toxic Drug Advisory for Campbell River.

The warning was issued yesterday and will be in place for a week.

Island Health says overdoses are increasing and the drug supply - inhalation and injection - is highly toxic. There is also an advisory in place in Greater Victoria.

If you suspect someone of overdosing, call 911 immediately and, if available to you, administer Naloxone.
