Parent volunteers at Mark R. Isfeld Secondary School are asking the community to help support a special celebration for this year’s graduating class.
The Grad 2026 Dessert Night is set for February 4th and is expected to draw more than 600 guests, including graduating students and their families.
The in-person event - with a Great Gatsby and Roaring 20s theme - is intended to mark graduation and bring families together for an evening of celebration.
Organizers are currently seeking donations of student prizes and items for a silent auction. The donations will help create the event and support initiatives for the graduating class.
Organizers say events like this rely on the generosity of local businesses and community members.
Donors will be recognized during the event through the program and presentations.
If you are interested in contributing you can contact Jennifer Fritzsche, Vice Principal in charge of the event, at jennifer.fritzsche@sd71.bc.ca.
