The Insurance Corporation of BC says three million cheques have been delivered.
If you're still waiting for your gas rebate cheque, check your mailbox. The rebates are worth $110. The Insurance Corporation of BC says all cheques - three million of them - are now in the mail, if they haven't already been delivered.
Some have been waiting longer than others. Only about 600-thousand customers were signed up for direct deposit or credit card rebates, meaning
cheques had to mailed out to about 2.8-million people. ICBC says the one-time rebate is just that, and it has no plans to issue more, even though gas prices have risen higher than when the rebates were announced in March.
The province is spending almost $400-million on the program.
