First Nations throughout the province are getting set for a pretty epic journey.
The Paddle to Muckleshoot is done annually - a traditional route which ends at the Muckleshoot Reserve in Washington State. Over 500 boats in total have been known to make the journey in past years.
Homalco First Nation is holding a bottle drive to raise many for their trek.
Community members can drop bottles off at the Depot & tell the staff to donate the funds to account #468 if they want to support the initiative.
Paddlers will land at Muckleshoot on July 30th ahead of a week's worth of activities.
