Highway 4 at Cameron Lake bluffs reopened last night, to single lane alternating traffic, after being closed due to rainfall in the area that began late in the day on Tuesday.
Crews had to stay clear of falling debris and it was unsafe for them to continue to work in the area after the Cameron Lake bluffs wildfire caused damage to the bluff, and rainfall has increased the risk of debris falling along the highway.
The highway was fully closed for 17 days after the fire struck in June.
