Heat Warning Remains In Effect For Our Listening Area

Environment Canada issued a heat warning for the Lower Mainland Monday (Aug. 11) which continues Tuesday (Aug. 12) before temperatures are expected to ease towards the end of the week.

The heat warning continues for East Vancouver Island, including Courtenay to Campbell River.

Another hot day is expected on Tuesday before temperatures start to get back to around seasonal tomorrow.

Warnings are also in place for Inland Vancouver Island, Howe Sound, Whistler, Pemberton, and Sunshine Coast, along with other areas of the province including Metro Vancouver, and parts of Fraser Valley and the Okanagan.
