This week's Haunting at Hilchey raised $23 hundred dollars for affordable housing in the community.
Nearly 460 people from the community came to support the Habitat for Humanity Vancouver Island North fundraiser on October 30 & 31.
The volunteers with Habitat say they’d like to give thanks to the Campbell River Museum for hosting Del’s Dinner to feed guests, students from Katimavik, Real Canadian Superstore and Save-on-Foods Campbell River for donating candy, the Campbell River & District Chamber of Commerce, the Habitat Re-Store Campbell River for donating props for the event, and media sponsor, The Raven FM for helping spread the word.
Proceeds from this event are helping families into safe and affordable housing.
