The "E-Beaver" flew 72.4 Kilometers in a test run from the Fraser River to Patricia Bay in 24 minutes
B.C.-based Harbour Air is excited to report that they have performed their first point to point test flight with the E-Beaver, an electric seaplane made from a redesigned De Havilland Beaver plane.
The company has been working on the concept plane since 2019 and on August 18 2022, the E-Beaver flew 72.4 Kilometers in a test run from the Fraser River to Patricia Bay in 24 minutes.
Earlier this year, Harbour Air announced that the E-Beavers first all-electric commercial flight will take place in 2023.
