Downtown Comox will be transformed into a Halloween playground at the end of the month, with two days of family-friendly activities planned.
Celebrations begin Friday, October 30, with a Halloween movie night at the Marina Services Building in Marina Park.
The screening begins at 6 p.m., although the featured movie has not yet been announced.
The following afternoon, families are encouraged to put on their costumes for the return of the Comox Halloween Costume Parade.
The event takes place Saturday, October 31, from 3:30 until 5:30 p.m. throughout Downtown Comox.
Children and their families can visit participating shops and businesses for trick-or-treating while exploring the downtown area.
The afternoon will also include several Halloween-themed games and activities, including Mummy Pumpkin Bowling, Witches Hat Toss and Ghost Toss.
The third annual Witches Walk and Flash Mob will also return as part of the festivities, bringing costumed performers together for another Halloween presentation.
The family-friendly celebration is supported by Comox Centre Mall, community sponsors, the Comox Business in Action association and the Town of Comox.
Additional information, including the movie title once it is announced, will be available at Downtown Comox.
