The Comox Valley Habitat for Humanity ReStore is inviting the community to a free, family-friendly Block Party on Saturday, September 26.

The afternoon will bring together food, games, prizes and bargain hunting while celebrating community, sustainability and affordable housing.

Activities will include a barbecue, store discounts, a treasure hunt and door prizes.

A Kids Zone will also feature giant games, a button-making machine and other activities for children.

Visitors will have an opportunity to meet and welcome the ReStore’s new manager, Angel Garcia.

The Block Party will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Comox Valley Habitat for Humanity ReStore.
