Habitat for Humanity Vancouver Island North’s ‘Bid to Build’ Online Auction closed on Sunday.
The third annual event brought in over $44,500, $5,000 over what it closed at last year and they're continuing to receive additional donations. Proceeds will support Habitat V-I-N’s largest projects to date, on Piercy Avenue in Courtenay, on Hilchey Road in Campbell River, and a refurbishment of a previous Habitat homeowner’s house to serve another family.
If any community members missed the bidding, they can still make donations towards upcoming affordable housing projects at https://event.auctria.com/76c55b19-845f-42f7-b347-4598dcd8b9d4/
