The City of Campbell River is moving along with upgrades to the 911 system
Funding through the Next-Gen program is administered by the Union of BC Municipalities, with funding support from the Ministry of Citizens’ Services. Campbell River is getting a $45,000 grant to prepare for the implementation of Next Generation 911 as part of the Province’s upgrades to the 911 emergency communications system. The enhanced provincial 911 system will have features to improve accessibility, connectivity, and emergency responses.
