Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 7:40 AM

The event was a huge success, as members of the Foundation have been tallying the proceeds this week

It took a few days but members of the Campbell River Hospital Foundation have been busy this week, tallying up the proceeds from last weekend's 26th annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser, which took place last Saturday at Storey Creek Golf Club. Keltie McHale is the Events & Communications Director with the Foundation.

McHale says the proceeds will benefit the Just Like Home project, a ten bedroom lodge being built for North Island and coastal community families that will travel for medical care unavailable in their own communities.  Last weekend, the Campbell River Hospital Foundation presented their annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser. The event was a huge success, as members of the Foundation have been tallying the proceeds this week, which are more than 53 thousand dollars. Keltie McHale, the Events & Communications Director with the Foundation, speaks about where the proceeds will go.

Last Saturday's event was the 26th annual tournament fundraiser for the Campbell River Hospital Foundation, and the eighth straight year it was held at Storey Creek Golf Club.
