The LINC Youth Centre is hosting a craft fair on Saturday, May 6, to wrap up BC Youth Week celebrations.
The Gnarly Spring Craft Fair is happening tomorrow at the Native Sons Hall from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Youth crafters aged 9 - 19 years are setting up tables - over the years, having sold photography, cards, sewing, baking, woodwork, painting, jewelry, ornaments and more.
The LINC Youth Centre has been hosting events all week for Youth Week, with activities at the Centre continuing tonight and tomorrow, along with the fair at the Native Sons Hall, tomorrow and a wrap-up BBQ at the youth centre.
Youth Services Coordinator Alexis Forbes says they’ve been celebrating youth week for a decade and they’re excited to be doing it again.
She says it’s been great watching the kids’ work on their wares improve over the years.
