Families are invited to spend an afternoon at Holly Hill Farm while supporting the Campbell River and North Island Transition Society.

The second annual Fun on the Farm fundraiser takes place today from 3 to 5:30 p.m.

The family-friendly event will feature a scavenger hunt with prizes, games, bouncy castles, animal-petting opportunities, a stuffed-animal adoption and a barbecue.

Admission is $10, with proceeds supporting the Transition Society’s safe shelter, mental-health and substance-use services, and access to resources for people experiencing gender inequality.

Vendor spaces are also available for local bakers, artisans, makers and family-friendly businesses at a cost of $30.

Organizers are continuing to welcome sponsors and donations of prizes and giveaways.
