Horgan gave an emotional farewell speech in the legislature yesterday.
The 63 year old Horgan - who says he’s healthy and feeling fine - has twice battled cancer and announced last summer he was stepping down as premier after 5 years at the helm. Horgan worked in the legislature for 12 years before being elected and spent the next 18 years as an elected member. He has suggested St Patrick’s day might be his last day on the job.
