Another fire has sparked on the outskirts of Campbell River.
BC Wildfire Service says the fire was discovered yesterday, northeast of Strathcona Dam, and is under an acre in size. Like others this season, the fire is suspected to be human-caused.
It was listed as out of control Monday night but an update overnight has bumped it down to being held.
It’s burning north of another fire discovered on June 9th, which is down to less than four hectares and is under control.
