A fire has damaged four small buildings at the North Island College Comox Valley campus.
“We are grateful that there have been no reports of injuries,” said Colin Fowler, Vice President, Finance & College Services.
“We want to thank the Courtenay Fire Department for their quick response, which ensured the fire was contained to the Village.”
Courtenay Fire Department responded to the scene after 3 a.m. Thursday morning, where the fire was underway at an area known as the Village portables.
One classroom and three small buildings in the Village Annex are currently closed until further notice because of fire damage.
The fire is currently under investigation and there were no injuries.
