There will be one more meeting Thursday night for residents in the electoral districts who are facing a water rate increase.

The Comox Valley Regional District began holding info sessions last week to explain upcomi9ng changes.

A significant portion of the water system is made up of infrastructure that is approaching the end of its service life and needs replacement or will soon. And that means a rate increase.

Tonight's meeting for Black Creek and Oyster Bay residents goes from 5pm to 7pm at the Oyster River Fire Hall.
