The City of Campbell River is making it easier to get into the pool.
The City is now offering up free drop-in admission for preschool, children, and youth at the Centennial Pool, through to September 1st.
The city says the move looks to make the use of Centennial Pool more financially accessible for families and increase participation.
City staff will report back to Council in the fall to talk participation statistics, and operational and budget impacts, with recommendations to potentially expand the initiative.
