Patty Hajdu has also been invited to attend the funeral of one of the ten victims of the mass stabbing rampage over the Labour Day weekend.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says the federal government will continue to "be there" for the community over the coming days, months, and years.

Ten people were killed, and 18 others injured in the attacks in the nation and the nearby village of Weldon.

The two men responsible, brothers Damien Sanderson and Myles Sanderson, also died.
