Today is International Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Day.
Rivercity Inclusion is teaming with Liǧʷiłdaxʷ Health Society (league-will-dug-K) on an event in Campbell River.
It’s happening 1pm to 5pm at the Willow Point Splash Park for residents to learn about FASD services and resources available in the community.
They’ll be working on awareness campaigns throughout September to reduce the stigma, improve prevention and diagnosis, and increase support for individuals with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder.
