Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for Monday, with inland highs possibly reaching 35 degrees Celsius.

The City is recommending ways to stay cool during the extreme heat including running errands early or late in the day when it's cooler.

It's suggested you seek cooler, breezier areas when outdoors, such as large parks near the water with lots of trees, and never leave children or pets in a parked vehicle.
