Drivers using Comox Road should expect slower travel on Thursday, September 17, as crews carry out paving work from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

A lane shift will be in place throughout the work.

Brief lane closures or full traffic stops may also be needed to allow construction vehicles through.

Detours will be in place for pedestrians and cyclists.

Traffic crews will work to limit backups.

Drivers are asked to follow posted signs and directions from flaggers.

The paving is part of the Comox Valley Sewer Conveyance Project.

Keeping Our Word

It is pronounced "eye-ya-jooth-hem."
