Drivers and pedestrians in Comox are being advised to expect some delays along Comox Avenue over the next several weeks.
A contractor is installing a new sound barrier wall on the north side of Comox Hill, resulting in intermittent partial road and sidewalk closures near Glacier View Drive.
The work began September 8th and is expected to continue through October 8th, generally between seven in the morning and five in the afternoon.
Traffic control will be in place when needed, and anyone travelling through the construction zone is being asked to watch for posted signage and follow directions from crews.
Emergency vehicles will continue to have unrestricted access throughout the project.
