Another Town of Comox survey is quickly nearing completion.

Monday, February 26, 2024, is the deadline for residents to offer input to help shape the Town’s inaugural five-year Economic Development Strategy.

This strategy focuses on fostering job growth, attracting new investments, and nurturing existing businesses, emphasizing three key pillars:  

-highlighting Comox's unique features to attract investments, such as the marina, airport, and downtown areas

-supporting the expansion of local enterprises

-exploring the potential of industrial zones for job creation.

Consultations began last fall, involving interviews with community and business leaders, as well as gatherings and workshops with local organizations.

The completion of the strategy is slated for this spring.
