It just got a little tougher to get your hands on cash in downtown Campbell River.
The Royal bank will be locking their doors on nights and weekends, limiting access to its ATM.
The bank posted a notice on its doors last week stating that while it’s disappointing, it’s a necessary move to ensure cleanliness and public safety after a decade of issues.
Access to the ATM will be limited to business hours - closed from 5pm to 7am during the week and will close Saturdays at 4pm until Monday mornings.
