Intermittent, partial road closures on South Dogwood Street begin today through September 13th.
Work will take place between Rockland Road and South McPhedran Road, between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Crews are fixing up the Dogwood Stormwater Detention Pond. One north-bound lane will be closed, and single lane traffic will be in effect at various times between these dates.
The revitalization work will help maintain the detention pond and allow it to continue to act as a stormwater pond that protects the nearby creek.
The Simms Creek multiuse path may also be impacted over the next month.
For more information about the parking lot closures, contact the City of Campbell River by emailing dogwood.centre@campbellriver.ca.
