Discovery Pier will be closed to the public for a couple of months starting today. The City of Campbell River says it needs to make necessary structural repairs to improve its condition.
It’s anticipated that the pier will partially reopen on Sunday, May 16th when the public will be able to access the southern portion (where the concession stand is located). The City anticipates fully reopening the pier by Sunday, May 30th.
Residents are asked to follow all signage and safety controls in place.
