Campbell River's Collect-and-release aquarium is reopening its doors for the season on Saturday, May 17th.
The Discovery Passage Aquarium says staff and volunteers have been hard at work since their seasonal closure last fall, revisiting and redeveloping systems in preparation for this year.
In a release, the Aquarium says this season will feature a myriad of new exhibits, species, and displays, offering fresh experiences for both returning and first-time visitors.
In addition to their regular opening, planning for school programs, marine biology summer camps, and Ocean Week Campbell River are well underway.
The Discovery Passage Aquarium Society is a registered charity with a mission to enhance knowledge, appreciation, and stewardship of the area’s natural resources and ecosystems.
