Time is running out for local community organizations to get in on some grant funding in Cumberland.
Grant applications are being accepted until April 11th, for community organizations that provide social, cultural, recreational, and environmental services that benefit local residents.
Applications will be accepted for a minimum of $2000, with the program in Cumberland doling out $10,000 in total funding available.
The money is intended for community projects or services that further the Village’s strategic priorities and objectives, including:
- A healthy and accessible community
- Attainable housing
- Diverse recreation, arts, and culture opportunities
- Food security
- Child care space creation
- Climate change mitigation and adaptation
- Protection and enhancement of the natural environment
