The Comox Valley Regional District is developing a local area plan for the Saratoga Beach area and is inviting community members to share their vision for the area’s future.
The Saratoga Beach Local Area Plan will guide future growth in the community, focusing on land use, housing, transportation, infrastructure, and other community needs.
Electoral Area C Director Edwin Grieve says the Saratoga Community is a special place in the Comox Valley, and feedback is essential to developing something that reflects the community’s vision for the future.
The CVRD will be engaging with Saratoga Beach residents, business owners, community groups, local First Nations, and other partners throughout the year to help shape the plan.
A survey is up at Engage Comox Valley with feedback being collected until May 12th.
There’s also an open house on May 5th ( 5pm to 7pm) at the Oyster River Fire Hall.
