The CVRD is looking for input on a tourism strategic plan for the Comox Valley.
There's a workshop Monday, March 4, where residents can share insights, and provide ideas and input on key strategic initiatives and opportunities for tourism in the Comox Valley.
It’s a new date for the session - the original was scrubbed because of the weather earlier this month.
The CVRD says it recognizes the immense potential of the Comox Valley as a visitor destination and has begun a planning initiative with a 10-year scope, partnering with 4VI and Experience Comox Valley to administer the project.
It aims to engage local residents, businesses, stakeholders, and rightsholders to design a tourism strategy together, that “aligns with the region's values, sustains its natural resources and maximizes economic benefits.”
The session runs from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Crown Isle Resort & Golf Community.
