The deadline is fast approaching for community groups in the valley to access grant money from the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD).

The district provides a variety of granting opportunities to non-profit and charitable organizations within the community, including Community Grants for the Electoral Areas, Regional Community Grants, One-Time Community Grants for Recreation, Arts and Culture, and a number of grants where the sole purpose is to annually provide financial contributions to nonprofits that have demonstrated community benefit and need.

One time grants are available to support recreation, arts and cultural activities or events that benefit the whole Comox Valley.

The deadline to submit applications for this grant within the calendar year is March 1st.
