The Village of Cumberland is reminding residents of when to call 911.
In a release, the Village says reporting helps improve policing services, identifies policing needs in the community and improves response times and police presence at certain times.
During an emergency call 911.
This includes dialing 911 for incidents involving youth vandalism and mischief as it is occurring.
Non-emergency matters can be reported to 250-338-1321 or using the online reporting system.
The Village says it is important for residents to call in or use the online reporting system for all non-emergency incidents, as it will help determine trends and patterns in the community.
