Cumberland Public Works has begun its annual maintenance programs.

Servicing will continue throughout the month of April for the following:

• Watermain flushing
• Storm Catch Basin cleaning and
• Storm Main flushing.

Flushing water lines cleans the water distribution system, which helps keep the water safe to drink.

This may cause some discolouration in the water to your home. If this occurs, run your outside tap or your bathtub using cold water until it clears.

It’s a good idea to check your water before doing laundry.
