Preliminary results are in from Saturday’s by-election in Cumberland.
Residents elected Nick Ward as the new Village councillor.
Ward received 535 votes, compared to 169 for Thea Cockerton, and 27 for Ken Barth.
The results are expected to be declared official by the Village of Cumberland on Wednesday.
The by-election was to replace councillor Jesse Ketler, who left council in June.
