The cleanup continues after a wild weekend with the weather.

The Comox Valley Regional District opened up the Warming Centre at the Lower Native Sons Hall in Courtenay yesterday to get people out of the cold and snow.

The City of Campbell River says crews were out first thing yesterday morning to start taking care of the roads and sidewalks.

Crews were warning of the potential for some flooding due to blocked catch basins with the transition to rain - it’s a good idea to check for any blocked basins around your home to help the process along.
