Crews are completing sewer repairs at the intersection of Dogwood Street and 9th Avenue Friday until 2:00 p.m.
Lane closures are in place and the intersection is being controlled by traffic control personnel. Signs are in place to assist traffic flow.
The City is completing repairs at various locations between now and October 31, 2022.
Minor traffic delays may occur as crews close or narrow lanes to complete the work. Locations include Dogwood Street from 2nd to 9th Avenue and Alder Street from 7th Avenue to Shoppers Row.
Limited overnight street parking will be available in some areas to allow crews and equipment to access manholes.
Road work of note in Courtenay, as well.
England Ave at 5th Street will be closed today until 2:00 pm for a concrete pour.
Traffic control personnel are on hand to assist commuters and emergency vehicles, with the road closed even to them.
