The City of Campbell River is gearing up for the return of its award-winning CR Live Streets summer event series.

It will light up downtown with music, art, and community spirit every Wednesday evening from July 16 to August 27.

Mayor Kermit Dahl says CR Live Streets brings people together in a fun, fresh outdoor setting and showcases downtown Campbell River as a destination.

The series kicks off with Caribbean Night on July 16th, with Rockin’ River Country Night the following Wednesday (July 23rd) - a night the City says is the perfect way to immerse yourself in country music.

CR Live Streets schedule:

  • July 16 — Caribbean Night, featuring Caleb Hart with Sonic Alley and opening act Cheko Roots
  • July 23 — Rockin' River Country Night, featuring Orchard Sky and opening act Doug Folkins
  • July 30 — Latin Night, featuring music by Orquesta Obatala and dance lessons from the Forbidden Dance Company Comox Valley
  • August 6 — Art Attack on the Row
  • August 13 — Back to the Fusion, featuring Astrocolor
  • August 20 — Swing Night, featuring Jen Hodge All Stars and dance lessons from the Forbidden Dance Company
  • August 27 — Music in the Night, featuring Hey Ocean! and opening act Velavox

Gates open at 5 p.m. for Art Attack on the Row and at 6:30 p.m. for all other events. All events except for Art Attack on the Row are licensed.
