The City of Courtenay is gearing up for the 2025 resident survey - Your Courtenay, Your Voice - from November 3 to 21.
In a release, the City explains that now in its third year of a five-year benchmarking process, the survey helps track community priorities and measure changes over time. Once five years of data have been collected, the survey will happen every other year.
The survey will be conducted by telephone, with randomly selected Courtenay residents aged 18 and older invited to share their feedback.
Survey goals include:
- providing input for the City’s strategic planning and budget process
- identifying and confirming strategic priorities
- highlighting key community issues and services
- assessing resident awareness of City programs and services
- identifying service gaps or opportunities for improvement
- supporting continuous improvement across City services
The results of the survey are expected to be presented to council near the new year.
