Courtenay residents will have some ups and downs with their water for the next few weeks.

Public Works will begin flushing water mains in parts of east Courtenay starting today thru to November 17th.

Flushing will occur weekdays between 730am and 4pm - in the area between upper Muir Road/Mission Road to Klanawa Crescent; the area bounded by Evergreen Avenue, 4th St E, Malahat Drive and Lerwick Road; and the area extending from Crown Isle Boulevard to McDonald Drive bounded by Lerwick Road.

Residents and businesses may experience temporary, short-term water pressure fluctuations, along with cloudy water or discolouration during those times.
