Courtenay Council Electric Vehicle Charging Station Cost Recovery Model

Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 7:30 AM

By Jay Herrington

The City of Courtenay wants to establish a flat-rate fee model for all City-owned electric vehicle charging stations.

Three Level 2 chartering stations were installed over the winter, with dual port chargers located in the downtown core at 6th Street and England Avenue, and at the Lewis Centre.

There’s also a single port charger at City Hall.

Council directed staff at their meeting last week to come up with a plan.
