Construction has begun on Beaufort Avenue between Beach Drive and Rodello Street.
Work is currently focused on completing necessary Town infrastructure upgrades, including water and storm mains.
The CVRD has sent out a notice to affected residents and is reminding them to remove any landscaping from the work site, including trees and shrubs, decorative rocks, flagstone, etc., as work will be done within the public right-of-way in front of properties on both sides of Beaufort.
Residents will have until January 6th to remove anything they don’t want damaged.
Work is taking place until December 20th, then will pick back up in January for about four more weeks of work.
Construction will happen Monday to Friday, 7am to 8pm.
