Construction is set to begin on the sewer force made at the intersection of Comox Avenue and Stewart Street, which will involve significant traffic disruptions starting tomorrow until May 3rd.
Motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians are advised to avoid the intersection and commute via Balmoral Avenue.
Residents can expect traffic disruptions and possible traffic detours during construction hours, 7am to 8pm, Monday to Friday.
To access homes south of Comox Avenue, the CVRD suggests using Beaufort Ave. Access to homes located on the north side of the Comox Avenue intersection is via Balmoral Ave. Again, work starts tomorrow and is expected to last through next week.
All commuters advised to avoid intersection and take detour routes.
